Angelica's Story
Life
Greeting! It is Angie Hernandez, the
redhead with a sometimes
bleached out a flat-top. Well, the
hair has grown out. I have
abondoned the Doc Marten boots
and slipped into a pair of
Birkenstocks. My Marine Corps stint
was short-lived and followed by
college. I started school in Chicago
and ended up at Whittier College
where I received both my Bachelors
and Masters degrees. After
graduating in 1997, I worked as a
teacher ...Expand for more
in elementary education and
adult education. As of this fall I was
accepted into a Ph.d program at
UCLA. I am buried in books and
starting my career in research. The
doctoral program is in Psychological
Studies in Education. I want
investigate gay and lesbian
adolescent issues in schools. I still
keep in touch with a few other
classmates like; Lisa Brellenthin,
Julia Gothold, Patrick Moriarty and
many of the teachers. Life is Grand!
